This is your best issue EVER! Keep up the good work. P.S. I love your Taina model. That's proof if I ever saw it that the Taino
spirit lives on.

Taino lives on brought tears to my eyes! You could possibly have the beginning to a novel or memoir.

I have enjoyed your diva articles. Will look forward to reading it again. but your issues are too far apart. maybe you should have a blog or something? Lydia, Puerto Rico the new stuff you added esta a fuego chula David, Calif. i love your site but it kept me wondering WHO is La Diva? Sergio, Maryland

Oh wow, thank you for all that you said and for all that you have done with the power you have of being latina, and with this notoriously amazing site.
I appreciate what you and the web site have been doing, I was saddened when I was continously going into my mail and was expecting to see many emails from la diva latina but none were there. my mom and I love reading our emails that we recieve from your courageous and inspiring website.

There are not many latina powered shirts here in canada unless I get them sent from my abuelita in the states but I love showing my Latina Pride and I am thankful for your continued encouragement. I love the shirt. Once again gracias y mucho respeto a toda la comunidad latina que tiene que ver con un sitio muy informante, inteligente y maravilloso!!! Keep at it Girl. Thank you for your inspiring website and encouragement to latinas everywhere, count me in. Gaby, Canada
Bless your heart! I remembered early this morning, after my husband left for work, how I felt this day (9/11) just two years ago. My heart went out to the victims' families, I imagine how they feel on this anniversary. I mourn my dad still, and it has been over ten years since he passed away! The best way to honor the memory of our lost loved ones is to live our lives to the fullest, last time we marked a major anniversary since my dad passed away, we all did his favorite activities. Thanks! Take care.
Fran, Puerto Rico, September 11, 2003
The experiences that we lived through two years ago on September 11, and the somber feelings and patriotism for mankind continue to remain in our hearts and souls not only today but everyday. Thank you for the inspirational message. Have a blessed day!

I just finished reading your website and it made me laugh and laugh :) :) :) so much. Then towards the end, it made me cry as I saw the remembrance of Sept 11, two years ago. the young boy looks like a two-year old in the picture, and reminded me of all the small children that lost a mother, father or both parents at the WTC. What a tragic event, and it will never be forgotten.

I started to cry when I read your well written piece about our Celia Cruz. I attended her concert when she was in Boston I didn't want to miss that for the world. Her words, her music, her style tuched us all. I learn how to salsa listening to her music and now Iam passing it on to my son. Just her name says who she is it brings me confort and pride. Celia Cruz influenced me to learn my latino history as for that I am proud to be Latina It is really sad to see her go and we will all miss her. Thank You for sharing that, you really wrote with all your heart.

Sinceramente, Alberto 8/2003
All I can say is she will be missed. I can't recall a day I did not come home from school and hearing her records. I knew all was well. If we did not hear her music we entered softly. I will always think of her as a class act. Not like some of today.

I really enjoyed reading your articles and reflections on ladivalatina about Celia. You captured all of our feelings about our humble, sweet Reina de Salsa.Thank you.

Great shirt, great idea but its inaccurate. I am arawakan indian from Puerto Rico. We are classified as American Indian (Amerindian). Taino American Indians is one of the sub-cultures of the Awarakan Indians. George, Puerto Rico
the shirt was intended as a way to remember our taino heritage. not that we are 100% taino. it means - not to forget our taino heritage. wasn't meant to offend anyone. over all we have recieved a positive response. thank you for your letter.
My concern is that your shirt indicates (OTHER) as if Taino, you need to choose OTHER. We represent less than 1% of the population of Puerto Rico but we are not classified as other. If you are American Indian from Puerto Rico, seek Tribal Membership.
We are Amerindians (American Indians) of the Caribbean. Native American, Indio, Indian, Amerindian, American Indian is on our Birth Certificates, Driving Identification Records, Education Records, Health & Medical Records, Social Security, Employment Records and other documents.
EVERYBODY IS WELCOME TO LEARN & PARTICIPATE WITHIN OUR NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN CULTURAL COMMUNITIES.

What a truly amazing piece in this month’s issue. Your contribution and dedication to the education system as always came shining through. You captivated my attention from the opening line to keep on reading and shared insightful ideas on how I could make learning easier, and exciting for my daughter, husband and I.
Also, thank you for keeping the memories of September 11 alive, and though this tragic evident took place in this great country, America the Beautiful that I call home, I am a far better person because of it. Continued success as your articles crosses all boundaries and touch as many people across not only in the Latin community but also in all cultures worldwide.I salute your achievement, so keep up the fantastic work.
With Warmest Regards, Nicole, West Indian Diva, Bklyn, NY

Gracias Diva por ser tan esmerada y proveer tanta energia... Alisa, Washington, DC You are the bomb. Your heading in all directions. Believe me when I say that the site must be generating a lot of viewers because of the topics, newsletters and what's for sale. If I'm wrong then I'm completely fooled. Christina, Long Island, NY thanks! it's letters like this that keep me going!
I read your articles and find them super interesting. It makes me want to click onto the remaining pages to find out what else you have going on. Where do you find all the info about such a vast variety of Latin topics?
I like the online T-shirts and other items for sale too. What I really liked was the invitation to the play. How it was presented made me feel as though you have spent a lot of time networking with fellow Latinos and have received their support. Your site is fresh and honest and doesn't bash other nationalities just to climb the ladder. I like that.
I as you can clearly see am a La Diva Latina supporter!

i couldn't believe this website! i couldn't stop reading it. i had to print it even though i was almost out of ink because i had to finish reading it! thanks Diva Latina for a great site!
